Our Story

A Family Kitchen on Hunt Street

Grandma's Tacos started the way most good things do — with an early alarm clock and a hot comal. Every morning before the sun's even up, we're pressing fresh tortillas by hand and getting the griddle going, because in this family, breakfast isn't something you rush.

We're a small, drive-thru-only spot on Hunt Street, but don't let the size fool you. Folks tell us they found us just passing through Pleasanton and ended up planning a return trip around it. One regular called our smoked brisket nachos "out of this world delicious," piled high with fresh pico de gallo, jalapeños, and guacamole. Another said it plain and simple: this is their new favorite taco spot.

Whether you're grabbing an early-bird bacon-egg-and-potato taco on your way to work or swinging by for a nacho plate that could feed the whole truck, everything here is made fresh, from scratch, the way Grandma always did it.
